Double J Productions

Double J Films is an independent, award-winning film company with a global presence spanning London, UK, and the USA. Our journey began in 2020 with our debut short film, "Physique," which was selected at BAFTA and OSCAR qualifying festivals and secured the Award of Excellence at the Canadian International Short Film Festival. Since, we have gone on to nurture up coming talent with launching our first ever pitch competition in 2023, producing narrative work, and holding industry led events. We're dedicated to pushing the boundaries of filmmaking, and bringing storytelling to the heart of all that we do.

Founder / Creative Director

Jennifer James is the driving force behind Double J Productions, where she serves as the Executive Producer. With a rich five-year history in the film industry, Jennifer is a seasoned award-winning filmmaker who calls both Britain and America her creative homes. Her journey has taken her across the UK and the US, working alongside acclaimed filmmakers and gaining valuable experience on sets for popular BBC and ITV TV shows and films. She also had a stint at the respected VFX and animation studio, DNEG. Jennifer's journey began with acting and led her to earn a degree in film and drama, where she found her true passion for storytelling in the world of filmmaking.
